A great breakfast near his carefree
Treatment Center for Chronic Diseases of Evritania had the opportunity to
students of the 2nd grade of the 3rd Primary School
Karpenisi, accompanied by the educators Christina Xolias
(teacher) and Maria Tsiamciouri (English Language Teacher),
on Wednesday 17 April 2019. The story they wrote in English
and illustrated by the students of the fourth grade in its framework
the Erasmus + program on philannacology, the young classmates
with the help of their teacher they turned her into theatrical
presented at the Medical Center. This is his story
Mr. Alekos, a solitary elderly writer, withdrawn
from the modern world of alienation and social indifference
who suddenly wakes up one day and realizes that he is new again! Then
decides to show to the young people who roam the city
by looking at their mobiles and tabs what their value is
offer to their elderly fellow men how they can
help them or give them a smile with a simple visit
in the nursing home of their area. The story ends with Mr. Alec
old again, but happy because he managed to make the change in
his city, help the elderly and give a life lesson
to all of us.
This story, along with five other stories written by them
pupils from Poland, Croatia, Spain, Finland and
Germany, will be printed in a book to be shared in
charities and NGOs in all countries through the
schools. Stories will also be presented during
during the meeting in Karpenissi in May.

Papastogiannidou, the staff of the Therapy Center, the students and
the teachers of the Special Primary School and the CEEP
Karpenissi who attended the show and all of them
who helped to make the visit.
